This is a special Russian tea (because you can rush it in and rush it out). It can be made in advance and can be served hot or iced. The wonderful aromas create a warm, festive atmosphere. - Ingredients
- 12 whole cloves
- about 2-1/2 cups water
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 1 teaspoon/broken stick cinnamon (optional)
- 8 tea bags
- 1 small can frozen lemonade
- 1 cup honey or sugar
- Raspberries for garnish
Add cloves to water and boil for 5 minutes with more or less of the optional spices (nutmeg and cinnamon). Put in tea bags, turn off the heat, and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and strain. Add lemonade and honey/sugar. Garnish with raspberries.
