Afghan kofta recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | ground beef |
1 | onion(s), finely minced |
1 | green pepper(s), finely minced |
1 clove(s) | garlic, finely minced |
½ | gound coriander |
10 | cherry tomatoes |
500 g | spiced brown rice |
8 slice(s) | Afghan bread |
Instructions
Knead together beef, onion, pepper, garlic and salt and pepper.Let stand 30 minutes to blend flavors and then form into 16 oval balls.
String 4 balls on skewers alternating with an onion quarter, green pepper quarter and cherry tomato on each skewer.
Grill about 5 minutes until browned, turn and grill other side.
Boil the rice and serve together with the meatballs and flat Afghan bread.
