Yankee avocado burgers recipe details
Ingredients
1 | avocado, halved, pitted and peeled |
2 tbsp | fresh lemon juice |
2 tbsp | red onion, finely chopped |
1 tsp | prepared horseradish |
½ tsp | sea salt |
4 | 1/4 pound hamburger patties |
4 | hamburger buns |
4 | lettuce leaves |
8 slice(s) | tomato |
Instructions
In a bowl, combine avocado and lemon juice, mash until creamy. Stir in horseradish, onion and salt. Place plastic wrap on surface of Yankee Avocado Spread; set aside.Over medium-hot coals, grill hamburger patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
Open up the buns and grill. On each grilled bun bottom, layer lettuce and tomato slices.
Top with grilled hamburger patty and spoon on Yankee Avocado Spread. Place on bun top.
