Ingredients
1 kg | boneless, skinless chicken breast |
24 | scallions |

For the marinade: | |
120 ml | rice wine |
120 ml | soy sauce |
1 tbsp | fresh ginger, grated |
1 tbsp | sugar |
Instructions
Combine the rice wine, soy sauce, ginger and sugar in a medium bowl and set aside.Cut the chicken into cubes and add to the marinade. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
In the meantime trim the green onions and cut them into small pieces.
Remove the chicken from the marinade. Reserve the liquid for basting in a separate bowl.
Alternately thread the chicken and green onions onto the skewers.
Place the skewers on a broiler pan and broil, basting often until the chicken is just cooked through, about 6 minutes.
