Watermelon in Rose Lemon Syrup recipe

Ingredients
1 | melon, peeled, seeded, cut into chunks or cubes |
2 tbsp | rose water |
fresh lemon juice | |
ice cubes | |
For the syrup: | |
200 g | granulated sugar |
120 ml | water |
Instructions
Syrup:
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring once or twice; remove from heat and let cool before using.
Place melon chunks in a large bowl. Add lime juice and rose water. Add about 200g of ice cubes per 500g of watermelon. Set the bowl in the refrigerator until the ice cubed have mostly melted.
Remove from refrigerator and add the syrup. Mix well. Serve in glasses with a spoon on the side.
