Watermelon in Ginger Wine recipe

|125 ml||ginger wine|
|30 g||candied ginger|
Shape out balls from a watermelon using a round melon baller, removing seeds from melon as necessary.
Place melon balls into a bowl.
Combine water, wine and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves and mixture is hot. Cut ginger into slivers, add to the wine mixture. Pour over melon balls.
Refrigerate for 8 hours and stir occasionally.
Spoon watermelon and wine mixture into serving bowls.
