Warm green bean salad recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | green string beans |
1 medium | onion |
100 g | lean bacon, diced |
2 tbsp | salad oil |
2 tbsp | dark balsamico vinegar |
2 tbsp | brown sugar |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Rinse beans. Cut off ends at both sides. Cut in small pieces, best done with a pair of scissors. Steam beans for 15 minutes. Cut onion finely.In a bowl mix vinegar, oil and sugar. Add bacon, onion and beans to the dressing. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve still warm.
