Vodka lemon sorbetto recipe details
Ingredients
300 ml | water |
200 g | caster sugar |
300 ml | lemon juice |
3 tbsp | lemon vodka |
Instructions
Combine caster sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat over a low heat. Keep stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes, without stirring, or until the solution has attained the consistency of a thin syrup.
Remove from heat and leave to cool. Once cooled, stir in the lemon juice, and the lemon vodka.
Pour the lemon mixture into a container and freeze for an hour. Then remove from the freezer and beat with an electric mixer until smooth; return to the freezer. Repeat this procedure twice, then leave to freeze until very firm.
