Serves: 10- 2 pounds ground venison
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 (15 ounce) cans chili beans
- 1 (29 ounce) can black beans, drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Better Than Bouillon Beef Base(TM)
- 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground oregano
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups water
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheese
- tortilla chips
Preparation method
Prep: 25 mins | Cook: 45 mins1. In a large Dutch oven, brown venison. Add onions; cook and stir until tender. Stir in beans, corn, tomato sauce, ketchup, beef base, ranch dressing mix, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Pour in water, cook uncovered for about 45 minutes. Ladle into deep bowls and top with cheese and tortilla chips.
