Veal escalopes in lemon sauce recipe details
Ingredients
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |

2 tbsp | olive oil |
2 | lemons, juice and grated peel of 1 and 1 sliced |
2 sprig(s) | sage, chopped |
8 | veal escalopes, thin cut |
1 tsp | cornflour |
250 ml | beef stock |
Instructions
oil and fry the escalopes from both sides until slightly golden. Take out of the pan and keep warm.Pour the stock and the lemon juice into the pan and add the sage and 1 teaspoon of lemon zest. Bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Mix together the cornflour and a little water and stir the mixture into the sauce. Add the lemon slices and the escalopes and simmer for some more minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.
Serve with baguette.
