Vanilla scallops recipe details
Ingredients
4 | scallops, large |
3 tbsp | olive oil, light |
1 | vanilla bean |
1 | lime, squeezed |
black pepper | |
coarse sea salt |
Instructions
Slice open vanilla bean and scrape out the seeds.In a bowl, combine vanilla seeds, lime juice and olive oil. Add pepper to taste.
Cut scallops into very thin slices. Arrange the slices on precooled plates.
Drizzle with the marinade and top with crushed sea salt.
Only fresh (never frozen) high-quality scallops should be used for this dish.
