Ingredients

1 kg	tomatoes, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp	vinegar
	salt and pepper
1 pinch(es)	sugar
3 tbsp	extra vergin olive oil
2 clove(s)	garlic
4 sprig(s)	basil

Instructions

Combine vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar in a bowl. Whisk in the oil. Peel the garlic and chop finely. Chop basil into fine strips. Add both into the dressing.

Put the tomatoes into a salad bowl, add the dressing and toss gently. Leave to steep for 5 minutes, then serve.
