Ingredients

500 g tomatoes, skinned and chopped
1  apple, cored, peeled and chopped
1 large onion, very finely chopped
100 g sultanas, very finely chopped
120 g brown sugar
250 ml cider vinegar
2 tsp mustard seeds, lightly crushed
2 tsp ginger, very finely chopped
2 tsp salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

Combine all ingredients but the sultanas in a saucepan and simmer stirring occasionally until tomatoes and apples are soft. Stir in the sultanas and bring to the boil. Boil until the desired consistency is obtained and fill chutney into sterilized twist off glasses.
