Ingredients
180 g | butter |
150 g | sugar |
150 g | flour |
300 ml | condensed milk |
300 g | chocolate chips |
230 g | toffee |
2 tbsp | butter |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.Cream together butter, sugar and flour until well blended and mixture comes together. Press evenly into a 9X13 cake pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until light golden. Cool while preparing filling.
Heat milk and 2 tablespoons butter in a heavy saucepan, stirring constantly over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, or until thickened. Spread over baked base and bake 12-15 minutes longer, or until golden.
Sprinkle milk chocolate chips evenly over top. Bake 2 minutes more, then remove from oven. Sprinkle toffee bits on top, pressing lightly into chocolate.
Cool completely.
