Ingredients
Serves: 3- 3 large eggs
- 2 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 8 ounces Cap’n Crunch(R) cereal, crushed
- 6 slices thick bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 6 mins1. Whisk eggs together with sugar in a bowl. Add cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir again. Pour cereal into a shallow pie pan.
2. Soak bread slices in the egg mixture, then coat with crushed cereal.
3. Place butter in a large nonstick skillet and set over medium-high heat. When butter melts, cook bread slices in the skillet for about 6 minutes to brown, flipping once midway through cooking time.
