Tex mex impossible pie recipe details
Ingredients1. Bisquick baking mix (1/2c)
2. chopped onion (1)
3. rinsed and drained black beans (1can about 15 oz)
4. frozen corn, thawed and drained (1c)
5. olive oil (1tbsp)
6. seeded and miced, jalapeno pepper (1)
7. shredded Cojack cheese (3/4c)
8. eggs, beaten (2)
9. salsa (1/2c)
10. milk (1/2c).
Method of preparation
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Take a pie pan of 9 inches and grease it and then keep it aside.
2. Take a frying pan, heat olive oil in it and cook onion in it until they get soft. Place the cooked onions, corn, jalapenos, cheese and black beans in greased pie pan.
3. Take a bowl of medium size, beat the remaining ingredients in it until they get well blended. Then pour this mixture over the mixture of pie pan.
4. Place the pie pan in oven and bake it for 35 to 40 minutes at 400 degrees f. . Bake it until the pie gets puffed and changes to golden brown in color.
5. Take out the pie from oven and keep it for 5 minutes to cool and then serve it with chopped avocado, sour cream and more salsa.
