Ingredients
Serves: 8- Marinade:
- 1 (11 ounce) can mango nectar
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 habanero pepper, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 (4 ounce) boneless pork loin chops
- Salsa:
- 1 mango, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 habanero pepper, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins | Extra time: 4 hours, marinating1. Combine all marinade ingredients, including pork chops, in a large plastic resealable bag. Seal bag and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate, then drain.
2. Stir mango, onion, bell pepper, lime juice, habanero pepper, and salt together in a bowl. Refrigerate.
3. Preheat grill to medium and lightly oil grate.
4. Set pork chops on grill and close lid. Cook for about 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes, until pork reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. Serve with salsa spooned over each.
