Ingredients

Serves: 8

• 1 pound ground beef
• 2/3 cup water
• 1 envelope taco seasoning
• 2 (12 ounce) tubes refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
• 1 (15 ounce) can chili con carne
• 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation method

Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 25 mins

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and coat a 13×9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Pour off any excess fat, then stir in water and taco seasoning. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then add canned chili and stir to mix.
3. Cut each biscuit into 4 wedges. Arrange in the baking dish, then pour the taco chili mixture on top. Sprinkle with cheese.
4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until biscuits are cooked through and cheese is melted.
