Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins | Extra time: 2 hours, chilling1. To make iced tea, first you have to make hot tea. So measure out 2 quarts of water into a large saucepan and put it on the stove over high heat. Wait for it to boil.
2. When the water is boiling, toss in the tea bags. Put the lid on the saucepan and let the tea strengthen for about 15 minutes. Then remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar and lemon. Stir to help the sugar dissolve.
3. Pour into pitcher. Add 7 cups of cold water to dilute the tea a little bit, and then toss in the mint to give it a fresh taste. Keep it in the fridge for an hour or two to cool it all down, and serve it in glasses over ice.
