Ingredients
4501 g | butter |
500 g | granulated sugar |
1 kg | strawberries |
120 g | pecans, chopped |
3 medium | eggs, whites only |
500 g | vanilla wafers, crushed |
Instructions
Beat egg whites until stiff.Cream together butter and sugar. Fold in strawberries, nuts and beaten egg whites. Mix well.
Make a layer of the wafer crumbs in a rectangular serving dish. Add a layer of the strawberry mix, alternate the layers and finish with a layer of the crumbs.
Chill for at least 12 hours in the fridge. To serve cut into squares.
