- Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 pound brown sugar
- 3 ounces dark corn syrup
- 1 cup simple sugar syrup (recipe below)
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
This sauce is like a liquid praline!
Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, and sugar syrup. Mix well. Mix in pecans. Put in jars and refrigerate. To serve, heat in microwave or on stove. Put into small bowls or pitchers and hold in oven until serving time.
Simple Sugar Syrup:4 cups sugar to 2 cups water. Bring to boil. Boil gently without stirring for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
