Ingredients
1 kg | steak |
For the rub: | |
2 tsp | garlic salt |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
For the meat: | |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
120 g | Cheddar cheese, grated |
240 ml | beef broth |
6 tsp | butter |
2 tsp | dried parsley |
Instructions
Combine the garlic salt and pepper and rub into the steak on both sides. Leave to stand for five minutes, then cut into about small serving pieces.Heat butter in a frying pan over low heat and cool the steak until browned on both sides. Sprinkle with chopped onion and add the broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for about 50-60 minutes.
Uncover and sprinkle with grated cheese and parsley. Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
