Ingredients
500 g | spinach |
1 | onion, chopped |
3 clove(s) | garlic, mashed |
1 piece(s) | ginger, grated |
1 tsp | coriander leaves, finely chopped |
1 tsp | cumin |
1 | red chili pepper, seeded and sliced |
2 tbsp | lard |
½ tsp | curry powder |
½ tsp | sugar |
150 g | yoghurt |
salt | |
2 tbsp | sesame seed |
Instructions
In a saucepan, melt the lard. Sauté the onion, garlic, chili, ginger, cumin and coriander. Stir in the curry, sugar and a pinch of salt. Cook over low heat for 3 minutes. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted. Take from heat and stir in the yoghurt.In a separate pan, roast shortly the sesame seed and sprinkle over the spinach.
