Ingredients
1.4 kg | pork spare ribs |
2 tbsp | oil |
For the marinade: | |
3 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
1 tsp | salt |
275 ml | red wine |
1 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
2 tbsp | sherry vinegar |
2 tbsp | tomato puree |
1 tsp | chilli powder |
1 tsp | mustard powder |
1 tbsp | honey |
2 tsp | freshly grated ginger |
½ tsp | freshly ground black pepper |
Instructions
In a large shallow bowl combine all sauce ingredients. Add the ribs, cover and marinate overnight.Place the ribs onto an oiled baking tray. Baste with the marinade. Roast the ribs in the preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes. Baste again with the marinade and roast for another 10-20 minutes or until nicely browned.
