Ingredients
100 g | pickled green chili peppers, sliced |
125 g | Gouda cheese, grated |
125 g | Cheddar cheese, grated |
1 | onion, chopped |
350 ml | milk |
150 ml | single cream |
1 large can(s) | corn, drained |
100 g | cherry tomatoes, halved |
40 g | Tortilla Chips, crumbled |
300 g | pasta |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tbsp | oil |
20 g | soft butter |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain. Mix together the Gouda and Cheddar cheese.Sauté the onion, garlic and chilies in oil. Pour in the milk and the cream and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese mixture. Simmer until the cheese has melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Transfer the cooked pasta, corn and tomatoes together with the sauce into a large casserole dish. Sprinkle with the crumbled tortilla chips and the remaining cheese. Divide butter flakes on top and bake for 20-25 minutes.
