spelt and rye bread recipe details
Ingredients
350 g | spelt flour |
150 g | rye flour |
1 pack(s) | yeast |
300 ml | warm water |
1 tbsp | salt and pepper |
3 tbsp | cider vinegar |
2 tbsp | linseed |
Instructions
Mix spelt and rye flour in a bowl, place yeast in the centre and add a little of the water. Mix yeast, water and a bit of the flour and leave for 10 minutes. Put in rest of the water with linseed, salt and vinegar and knead everything together thoroughly.Rest the dough in a warm place and cover with towel for around 30 minutes. Knead again for about 5 minutes, add water if necessary and let rise for another 20 minutes.
Then put dough into backing tin or form a nice round loaf and put in preheated oven at 200°C for about 45 minutes.
