Ingredients
8 | chili peppers,red |
125 ml | oil |
4 tbsp | soy sauce |
2 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
500 ml | beer,dark |
tsp | salt |
1 tsp | marjoram |
1 tsp | oregano |
7 clove(s) | garlic |
1 ¾ kg | spare ribs |
300 ml | ketchup |
300 ml | honey |
1 tbsp | vinegar |
2 tbsp | mustard |
some | salt and pepper, to taste |
2 tbsp | tabasco |
Instructions
For the marinade:Cut 5 cloves of garlic and 6 chili peppers, mix with oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and 500ml beer. Season with salt, marjoram and oregano.
Marinade the spare ribs 10-12 hours in fridge.
For the honey sauce:Mix ketchup, honey, vinegar and mustard. Season with salt and pepper and tabasco. Cut 2 cloves of garlic and 2 chilli peppers and to the sauce. Stir.
Preheat the oven to 250°C.
Give the spare ribs on the grill and bake each side for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 22°C and bake 20 minutes. Turn over spare ribs every 5 minutes and brush with honey sauce and a little beer.
Reduce the temperature to 175°C and brush with sauces. Bake for 10 minutes.
