Ingredients
250 g | carrots, diced |
1 head(s) | cauliflower, in small florets |
1 bunch(es) | spring onions, chopped |
5 sprig(s) | parsley, chopped |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
8 | eggs |
200 g | single cream |
200 ml | milk |
250 g | spaghetti |
nutmeg | |
butter |
Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain. Cook the carrots and the cauliflower in salted water for 3-4 minutes. Mix together the pasta and the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the parsley and the onions.Preheat the oven to 150°C. Mix the milk with the cream. Beat in the eggs and whisk until well combined. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Transfer the pasta mixture into a buttered cake form. Pour over the egg mixture. Bake for an hour.
Allow to cool for 15 minutes, then turn over, cut in slices and serve.
