- Ingredients:
- 3 to 6 eggs
- 1 cup quick-cooking yellow grits
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces chopped yellow cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cubed or chopped ham
- Bread crumbs
Boil the eggs 5 to 6 minutes. Chop. Mix the grits, water, and salt in a medium saucepan. Cook all these ingredients for 2 to 3 minutes until thick, then add the cheese and the ham.
