Ingredients
250 g | flour |
125 g | butter |
60 g | sugar |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
1 tsp | baking powder |
2 | eggs |
For the filling: | |
500 ml | milk |
1 stick(s) | cinnamon |
25 g | butter |
40 g | sugar |
2 | eggs |
50 g | flour |
cinnamon, to dust |
Instructions
For the dough:
In a bowl mix the flour, baking powder and sugar and add the pinch of salt. Add the butter in pieces and rub together, then add the eggs and knead to a dough. Refrigerate until required.
For the filling:
Heat the milk with the cinnamon stick. Combine the flour and sugar and add slowly to the cooked milk, stirring constantly. Return to the heat and cook slowly for approx 10 minutes. Then stir in the butter and mix well. Let cool down, then add the eggs one after the other and beat well.
Line a greased 22cm cake tin with the pastry, pulling up 2-3 cm on the sides. Pour in the filling and bake at 200°C for 25 minutes.
Before serving sprinkle with cinnamon.
