Ingredients
350 g | flour |
230 g | butter |
½ tsp | cinnamon |
170 g | caster sugar |
120 g | sultanas |
500 g | cooking apples, chopped |
3 medium | eggs |
some | milk, if necessary |
some | Demerara sugar |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.Combine flour, salt and cinnamon together. Add butter and mix together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Add the caster sugar, eggs, sultanas and apples and mix well. If the consistency seems a little thick, add some milk.
Place the mixture in a baking tin and sprinkle the top with some Demerara sugar.
Bake for 90 minutes or util a knife inserted comes out clean.
