Ingredients

Serves: 4

• 3/4 pound smoked sausage, sliced
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 cups refrigerated red potato wedges
• 1 onion, cut into wedges
• 1 apple, cut into wedges
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds

Preparation method

Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins

1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage in melted butter for 4 minutes to start browning, then stir in potatoes, onion, and apple. Cook for about 5 more minutes to soften apple and potato.
2. Sprinkle with vinegar, sugar, and caraway seeds. Toss to coat. When liquids come to a boil, turn heat down to low and cook for another 3 minutes. Serve.
