I made this simple recipe a few days ago. It suits a man who is hungry and needs something fast, simple, easy yet delicious food ready on the table.

Ingredients
Serves: 1- 2 ounces rice vermicelli
- 3 cloves garlic
- 5 cloves shallot
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 teaspoon soy bean paste
- 1/2 carrot
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins1. Bring a pot of water to boil. Drop the vermicelli in it.
2. Heat up a wok over high heat and add in the cooking oil.
3. Quickly cook garlic and shallot until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
4. Add the chili paste, soy bean paste and carrot. Let them cook for about 1 minute.
5. Remove the vermicelli from the pot. Add it into the wok and stir.
6. Crack the egg onto the vermicelli. Season with salt & pepper. Keep stirring.Other ideas
