shirley's eggs recipe details
- Ingredients
- 3 hard-boiled eggs
- 2-1/2 Tablespoons margarine divided in 2 portions
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 cup diced ham
- 3/4 cup grated Swiss cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1-1/2 Tablespoons flour
- Salt to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice eggs and take out yolks. Mix the yolks with 1/2 of the margarine, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and ham. Stuff the egg whites with mixture in a baking bowl. In an other dish, mix the milk, flour, cheese, and the remaining margarine. Pour over eggs and bake.
Bake until bubbly and a touch brown.
Note:For the inn, we change bowl size depending on the number of guests. For example, if we have two couples, we use individual bowls.
