Ingredients

5 sheet(s) frozen puff pastry
1  onion, chopped
400 g sweetheart cabbage, shredded
salt and pepper
200 g mushrooms, sliced
6 sprig(s) dill, chopped
250 g cooked rice, leftover
1  egg yolk
3 tbsp single cream
500 g Hollandaise sauce
4 tbsp oil
nutmeg

Instructions

Defrost the pastry. Fry the cabbage in 2 tablespoons of oil for a minute. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. In another pan heat the remaining oil. Sauté the onion and the mushrooms until soft.

Mix the rice with cabbage, mushrooms and 2/3 of the dill. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Place the pastry sheets slightly overlapping onto the floured working place and roll out to a rectangle. Spread with the rice mixture. Mix the cream with the egg yolk. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash. Roll up.

Transfer the pastry roll onto a lined baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes.

Heat the Hollandaise sauce and stir in the remaining dill. Cut the pastry roll into neat slices and serve with a dollop of the sauce on top.
