Ingredients
5 sheet(s) | frozen puff pastry |
1 | onion, chopped |
400 g | sweetheart cabbage, shredded |
salt and pepper | |
200 g | mushrooms, sliced |
6 sprig(s) | dill, chopped |
250 g | cooked rice, leftover |
1 | egg yolk |
3 tbsp | single cream |
500 g | Hollandaise sauce |
4 tbsp | oil |
nutmeg |
Instructions
Defrost the pastry. Fry the cabbage in 2 tablespoons of oil for a minute. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. In another pan heat the remaining oil. Sauté the onion and the mushrooms until soft.Mix the rice with cabbage, mushrooms and 2/3 of the dill. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Place the pastry sheets slightly overlapping onto the floured working place and roll out to a rectangle. Spread with the rice mixture. Mix the cream with the egg yolk. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash. Roll up.
Transfer the pastry roll onto a lined baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes.
Heat the Hollandaise sauce and stir in the remaining dill. Cut the pastry roll into neat slices and serve with a dollop of the sauce on top.
