150 g | cherries, pitted |
4 tbsp | water, divided |
60 ml | dry red wine |
2 tbsp | honey |
2 tbsp | red wine vinegar |
1 tsp | fresh thyme leaves |
½ tsp | dry mustard |
salt, to taste | |
2 tsp | cornstarch |
Instructions
Combine cherries, 3 tablespoons of water and all the remaining ingredients except cornstarch in a saucepan. Cover and simmer gently 10 minutes.Combine cornstarch and remaining water and stir into the cherry mixture. Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
