- Ingredients:
- 4 Granny Smith apples (or however many you want)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brandy (or rum, whatever you like)
- Raisins (optional)
- Pecans (optional)
Peel, slice, and core apples. (If you do this the night before, pour a little orange juice with a couple of Tablespoons of Fruit Freshover the apples and drain before you toss with brown sugar.) Toss with brown sugar and saute until tender. Thrown in a few raisins and some pecans if you have them. Simmer for a couple of minutes, then cool slightly.
Serve with Apple Crisp Pancake.
