Ingredients
4 large | apples, peeled, cored, sliced |
200 g | butter |
150 g | brown sugar |
1 tbsp | orange juice |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
Instructions
In a large frying pan, melt 100g of butter. Add apple slices and cook over low heat, stirring frequently.Cook until apples are tender, 5-10 minutes. Remove to a casserole dish and keep warm.
In same frying pan, melt remaining butter and add cinnamon. Mix well. Add brown sugar and orange juice; mix well.
Return apples to pan and heat until hot, stirring constantly. Serve hot and with ice cream, if desired.
