700 g | pork sausage, peeled and thinly sliced |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
2 | red onions, finely sliced |
1 bunch(es) | chives, chopped |
4 slice(s) | bread, thick cut |
80 g | butter |
125 g | gherkins, thinly sliced |
3 tbsp | white wine vinegar |
sugar | |
3 tbsp | oil |
Instructions
Mix the vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar. Whisk in the oil. Add the sausage, onions and the gherkins and toss gently. Allow to soak for 30 minutes.Generously spread the bread slices with butter. Sprinkle with chives and a pinch of salt. Serve together with the pork sausage salad.
