|140 g||self-raising flour|
|1 tsp||baking powder|
|For the sauce:|
|170 g||Demerara sugar|
|1.7 l||boiling water|
InstructionsPreheat oven to 180°C.
Mix all the pudding ingredients together with an electric hand whisk. Place in a greased oven proof dish.
Mix sauce ingredients together and pour over the uncooked sponge; bake for 45 minutes. The sauce will sink to the bottom.
Either turn out or serve as is.
