salmon of the angels recipe details
- Ingredients
- 8 ounces of dried fresh salmon (no bones)
- 1/2 cup of cooked angel hair pasta
- heavy cream – a little more than a healthy splash
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons white wine
- 2 pinches of fresh parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped garlic
- fresh chopped basil to taste
- 4 ounces of marinara sauce (to color pink after saute is done)
In a frying pan at medium temperature, heat garlic and oil; add basil. Before garlic starts turning brown and after it loses translucency, add diced salmon. Gently cook, flip, or turn as necessary for 2 to 3 minutes — salmon is just turning pink when you add the white wine. Bring to boil. Add the heavy cream and marinara sauce, toss, add pasta, and toss until liquid has evaporated. Heat may need adjusting. Toss and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with parsley garnish and Romano cheese on the side. Enjoy!!
