Ingredients
240 g | shortening |
240 ml | corn syrup |
1 tsp | butter |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
900 g | confectionersí sugar |
½ tsp | salt |
Instructions
Combine shortening and corn syrup in a mixing bowl and beat until creamy. Add butter, vanilla and salt. Beat until blended. Add sugar and blend thoroughly until mixture is very stiff. Place icing on a work surface and knead until smooth.Store icing in a sealed plastic bag then place bag in an airtight container. Keeps in the refrigerator for 4-8 weeks.
