Roasted julienned sweet potato recipe details
Ingredients
2 medium | sweet potatoes, red or orange preferred, peeled and cut into thin strips, diagonally |
3 tbsp | olive oil |
1 tbsp | honey |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
cayenne pepper or paprika, to taste | |
2 sprig(s) | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4, 180ºC, 350ºFPlace the potato strips into a bowl with the oil and honey and toss together. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet, draining excess oil. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper and bake for 15 minutes, turning at least once for an even roast.
Remove from oven, season with cayenne pepper or paprika and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately!
