Rich chocolate loaf recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | dark chocolate |
6 tbsp | unsalted butter |
200 ml | condensed milk |
2 tsp | cinnamon |
75 g | almonds, roughly chopped |
75 g | amaretti biscuits, broken |
50 g | dried apricots, roughly chopped |
Instructions
Line a 675 g loaf tin with kitchen foil.Break the chocolate into small pieces, the smaller the pieces, the quicker the chocolate will melt. Give chocolate, butter, condensed milk and cinnamon together in a saucepan and heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate has melted. Stir in almonds, apricots and biscuits and mix well.
Transfer the mixture into the loaf tin and place the tin in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
To serve:
Cut the chocolate loaf into slices, it makes approximately 16.
