Rice sauce recipe details
Ingredients
3 tbsp | rice, cooked |
500 ml | milk |
½ medium | onion, finely chopped |
3 | cloves |
2 tbsp | butter |
salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Rinse the rice and combine with the milk. Cook in double boiler until soft.Rub through a fine strainer, return to double boiler and add onion with the cloves. Cook for about fifteen minutes.
Remove onion, add butter, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until sauce has thickened a little.
