Rhubarb icing recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | rhubard, chopped |
180 g | castor sugar |
4 tbsp | water |
120 g | mascarpone cheese |
200 g | icing sugar |
Instructions
Simmer chopped rhubarb in a saucepan with sugar and water for about 10 minutes.Strain the rhubarb and put the fruit aside if needed for further use, or discard.
Whip mascarpone, add the rhubarb syrup and mix well.
Gradually add icing sugar until a spreadable consistency is achieved.
