Raspberry tart recipe details
Ingredients
shortcrust pastry | |
raspberry jam | |
70 g | sugar |
70 g | butter, unsalted |
2 medium | eggs |
60 g | almonds, ground |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.Roll out the pastry and press out circles and form a mould/shell.
Melt the butter and leave to cool.
Put a little jam into the base of each shortcrust circle.
Beat together the eggs and sugar until they are of a thick cream consistency. Add the cooled butter and then fold in the almonds.
Spoon mixture onto the jam layer.
Bake tarts for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving suggestion:Serve warm or cold on its own or with a dollop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
