Raspberry syrup recipe details
Ingredients

granulated sugar |

water |
300 |
raspberries |
½ |
vanilla extract |
Instructions
Combine sugar and water in saucepan and bring to boil. Add raspberries and boil for 3 minutes: Remove from heat and add vanilla. Stir.Drain mixture in a sieve over a bowl for 2 hours.
Discard seeds and pulp and return liquid to saucepan. Boil for about 10 minutes, reducing syrup by half the original volume. Skim off foam.
Serve warm over French vanilla ice cream or over cakes, fresh fruit, waffles and ice cream puffs.
