Raspberry fig sauce recipe details
Ingredients
140 g | dried figs, stemmed, quartered |
240 ml | water |
3 tbsp | honey |
½ | vanilla bean |
300 g | raspberries, strained, juice served |
Instructions
Combine figs, water, honey and vanilla bean in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until honey dissolves. Cook and stir until figs are tender and liquid is reduced to thick syrup, about 20 minutes. Remove vanilla bean.Add raspberries and simmer until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
Serving suggestion:Serve over vanilla ice cream.
