Serves: 4- 2 ounces sliced bacon, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 ounces cooked chicken, chopped finely
- 4 1/2 ounces liver paste
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon finely snipped chives
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 6 mins | Extra time: 30 mins, chilling1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes, or until almost crisp. Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
2. Pour bacon, garlic, and bacon fat into a bowl. Add liver paste, parsley, chives, and salt and pepper to taste.
3. Transfer the pate into a ceramic dish, cover with plastic wrap or a lid, and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour before eating. Serve with toasted baguette or crackers.
